Spacetime can be used in Slack by inviting the @spacetime bot to any channel.

When you mention a time in any channel @spacetime is in, it will automatically translate that time the local time for everyone else in the channel.

For instance, if you, Dany, say 7 am  in the channel from New York, Kate in California will see a message from Spacetime:

7:00 AM for Dany is 4:00 AM for you

This message will only be displayed to them, so it won’t confuse anyone else.

If you mention someone specific, only they will see the translated time. For instance,

@andrew 5pm 

will localize 5 PM your time to Andrew's time zone and Spacetime will show him the local time conversion:

5:00 PM for Dany is 2:00 PM for you
